What the markets are doing on 21 September 2026

The EGX30 fell 0.7% at today’s close on turnover of EGP 12.1 bn (3.3% above the 90-day average). Local investors were the sole net buyers. The index is up 31.5% YTD.

In the green: Alexandria Containers and Goods (+4.9%), Telecom Egypt (+2.1%), and Juhayna (+1.3%).

In the red: Misr Cement (-4.5%), Emaar Misr (-4.2%), and Heliopolis Housing (-3.3%).
