What the markets are doing on 3 September 2026

The EGX30 rose 1.1% at today’s close on turnover of EGP 14.3 bn (25.5% above the 90-day average). Local investors were the sole net buyers. The index is up 34.5% YTD.

In the green: Raya Holding (+4.9%), Emaar Misr (+4.2%), and Palm Hills Developments (+3.1%).

In the red: Egypt Aluminum (-1.8%), Abu Qir Fertilizers (-1.7%), and Edita (-1.4%).
