What the markets are doing on 4 February 2025

The EGX30 fell 0.3% at today’s close on turnover of EGP 3.2 bn (16.5% under the 90-day average). Local investors were the sole net buyers. The index is down 0.2% YTD.

In the green: Orascom Developments (+1.9%), Oriental Weavers (+1.6%), and Alexandria Containers and Goods (+1.5%).

In the red: Egypt Aluminum (-2.5%), Eastern Company (-1.8%), and GB Corp (-1.6%).
