Joon-woo posts an SOS on social media when he begins running low on food and water. Just as he begins losing hope, he connects with Kim Yoo-bin (Park Shin-hye), a fellow survivor living in a neighboring apartment. Together they form an alliance and attempt to outwit the zombies, all while holding onto their humanity.

Despite a simple narrative, the end product is a thrilling watch. The film relies on captivating performances — like Yoo Ah-in’s perfect balance between humor, determination, and despair — creative tension, and clever use of technology like drones and booby traps to provide the audience with a thrilling experience.
