What the markets are doing on 20 October

The EGX30 rose 1.9% at today’s close on turnover of EGP 9.1 bn (19.4% below the 90-day average). Regional investors were the sole net sellers. The index is up 24.5% YTD.

In the green: Abu Qir Fertilizers (+6.2%), Misr Cement (+6.2%), and Mopco (+5.5%).

In the red: GB Corp (-6.1%), Beltone Holding (-0.4%), and Eastern Company (-0.4%).
