Arsenal beat City, Lens stun PSG, and more La Liga fixtures on our radar tonight

⚽ It’s a relatively calmer day on the pitch, with only one headline fixture on our radar: Deportivo vs Elche in La Liga — the former back in the league following an eight-year absence, having earned promotion by finishing second in the Segunda División last season. The match kicks off at 10pm, and will be broadcast live on beIN Sports 3.

🥅 ICYMI- Arsenal emphatically opened their title defense with a 3-0 Community Shield victory over Manchester City in Cardiff last night, much to Enzo Maresca’s dismay, who’s just starting as City manager. Across the Channel, Lens pulled off another upset, beating European champions Paris Saint-Germain 1-0 to claim their first-ever Trophée des Champions, denying PSG a second trophy in four days after securing the Super Cup.
