⚽ The match on everyone’s mind is happening this weekend. The Pharaohs are taking on Iran in the final Group G match at 6am this Saturday at the Seattle Stadium, on beIN Sports Max 1.
Egypt tops the group with four points. The path to qualification is straightforward: anything other than a loss puts us through to the round of 32. A draw is enough to ensure the top spot — unless Belgium beats New Zealand in the simultaneous fixture and overturns the goal difference.
On the radar this weekend
Group E wraps up tonight with two matches at 11pm:
- Ecuador vs. Germany — beIN Sports Max 1;
- Curaçao vs Côte d'Ivoire — beIN Sports Max 2.
Group F concludes in the early hours of Friday. Tunisia faces the Netherlands at 2am — a breezy night for the Dutch, who lead on four points and need only a draw or a victory to advance, against a Tunisian side that’s already out of the running. At the same time, Japan will be facing Sweden in a tighter watch, with both sides trying to stay clear of third place — a draw or a victory is enough for Japan, while Sweden would need all three points.
ALSO- Group D wraps up at 5am, with the US — already qualified and top of the group — facing Turkey, while Paraguay and Australia go head-to-head for second place, also at 5am.
On Friday evening, Group I concludes with two matches at 10pm:
- Norway vs. France;
- Senegal vs. Iraq.
In the early hours of Saturday, Group H closes at 3am with Cape Verde vs. Saudi Arabia and Uruguay vs. Spain — Spain would only need a draw to reaffirm their spot in the lead after their 4-0 demolition of Saudi Arabia.
The action spills into Sunday morning with the final round of group-stage fixtures, as follows:
- DR Congo vs. Uzbekistan — 2:30am;
- Colombia vs. Portugal — 2:30am;
- Algeria vs. Austria — 5am;
- Jordan vs. Argentina — 5am.
💡 NOTE- All World Cup matches air on beIN Sports Max 1, 2, 3, and 4.
🥅 ICYMI-

Three for three: Mexico wrapped up the group stage with three victories in three matches, beating the Czech Republic 3-0 at the Mexico City Stadium — where Mexico has never lost at a World Cup, across 1970, 1986, and — now — 2026.
An African upset: In the same group, South Africa pulled off a stellar result — beating South Korea 1-0 through a Thapelo Maseko goal to claim the second qualification spot, sending South Korea packing.
Brazil through, Morocco makes history: Brazil secured the top spot in Group C with a 3-0 victory over Scotland in Miami, ending Scotland’s hopes of advancing. Morocco followed with a 4-2 success over Haiti, becoming the highest-scoring African side in World Cup history.
In Group B, Switzerland beat Canada 2-1 — with both sides already through. Bosnia and Herzegovina beat Qatar 3-1 to finish third in the group and strengthen their case as one of the better third-place sides, while Qatar exited the tournament without a single success.
