Champions League qualifiers worth watching

European football returns to our screens as the third round of the Champions League qualifiers kicks off, featuring 20 teams competing for a spot in the playoff round.

The third-round matches are played in a home-and-away format; the losers will move to the Europa League, whereas the victors advance to the playoff round — which consists of 14 teams. Of those 14, seven will qualify directly for the Champions League stage, and the other seven will head to the Europa league.

  • Nice vs. Benfica (10pm).
