Bienvenue to the fourth season of Emily in Paris. Lily Collins’ Emily Cooper has taken over our lives once again as she navigates the glamorous and often chaotic world of Parisian life in the first part of season 4 of the Netflix original. From charming bistros to high-stakes meetings, Emily's journey through the City of Lights and her questionable fashion choices give us all the reason we need to hate-watch another season of the dramedy. We’ll make sure to tune in for the second part of the season on 12 September.

Qu'est-ce qui se passe? For those who are not Francophone here’s what's going on, the five-episode drop follows a more grown Emily, who has settled into her career and life in Paris and her relationships with her friends, coworkers, and love interests.

Don’t expect mind blowing (or even good) TV: The show received a disappointing one star from The Guardian, which called it “as exciting as watching paint dry … if you really hate paint” in a ruthless review. The review criticized the show’s lack of plot, charisma, and intrigue, saying that it’s “about less than nothing.” Variety seemed to have enjoyed it a little more, giving credit to Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu’s Sylvie for creating some friction and breathing life into the show.

WHERE TO WATCH- You can watch the series on Netflix or watch the trailer (runtime: 2:21).
