The Citadel: An action-thriller set in a global world of espionage that also checks off a lot of diversity boxes: Amazon original production The Citadel, which premiered a couple of weeks ago, sees Priyanka Chopra-Jonas in the lead role as a strong and sophisticated operative. The series follows her character, Nadia Sinh, along with fellow operative Mason Kane (Richard Madden) as they navigate through dangerous missions across various countries and continents, exposing conspiracies and tackling corrupt officials. The series is being produced in multiple countries, with each local language specific to each region, making it one of the largest-scale multi-lingual shows to date. Produced by Chopra and directed by the Russo brothers, The Citadel is also noteworthy for its diverse cast, with actors from across the world coming together to create a sense of authenticity.
