New Cairo gets a European bistro with a modern spin. Osteria recently opened on Choueifat road and features a refreshing and airy atmosphere and a menu to match it. The meat eaters out there must try the rack of lamb slathered in rosemary jus and decadent confit potatoes. And because it’s a crime to leave pasta enthusiasts behind, the fresh pappardelle pasta covered in a mouthwatering black truffle butter and parmesan cheese will induce a party in your palate. For dessert — if you somehow manage to find room in there — we recommend the strawberry and pistachio pavlova.
