EFG Hermes’ installment payment solutions app ValU is planning to gradually expand to Alexandria, Mansoura, Tanta, and Hurgada in 2020, as well as introduce Arabic language functionality to its platform to grow its user base, Chief Business Officer at ValU Mohamed El Feky said, according to Al Mal. The rate of customers’ inability to repay debt is around 0.3%, which is a very low rate, El Feky adds. ValUhas said earlier that it is planning to expand to Upper Egypt in 3Q2019 but there is no word in the press about whether the plan got underway.
