The amendments state that the authorities must confiscate assets, properties, key documents, and any arms that belong to someone convicted of terrorism. They also mandate that landlords can face up to one year in prison and fines of up to EGP 10,000 for not informing and providing authorities with copies of their leases with any tenant.
