The Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company (EETC) signed a EGP 362.4 mn equipment purchase and installation agreement with Elsewedy Electric for 52 units of 40 MVA power transformers, EETC chairman Gamal Abdel Raheem said. The transformers will be used for transmission stations in Cairo, Alexandria, the Delta region, the Canal governorates, Upper Egypt, and other governorates in central Egypt.
