The New Administrative Capital Company for Urban Development (NACCUD) received last week an offer from an unnamed US company to establish an open-air park over 1,500 feddans in the new capital, NACCUD spokesman Khaled El Hosseini, Al Shorouk reports. The US company will assess the available land before beginning negotiations with NACC, according to El Hosseini. No further details on the project were provided. It appears that US companies are interested in amusement parks these days. Some US-Saudi outfit calling itself Entertainment World Company announced earlier this month that it is investing USD 3.3 bn into a Disneyland-type amusement park.
