US Vice President Mike Pence’s arrival in Cairo on the first leg of his Middle East tour tops coverage of Egypt in the foreign press this morning. The VP’s visit comes as the region grows increasingly angry at US President Donald Trump’s administration, which “faces more daunting challenges in the Middle East than when he was sworn in,” Robin Wright says in The New Yorker.
