Read Full Issue President Abdel Fattah El Sisi held talks with Palestinian counterpart Mahmoud Abbas in Cairo yesterday that centered mostly around the fallout from US President Donald Trump’s declaration of Jerusalem as the official capital of Israel. El Sisi confirmed Egypt’s disapproval of the decision and determination to move the Middle East peace process forward and aid in the establishment of an independent Palestinian state, an Ittihadiya statement said.
El Sisi also met with Kuwaiti National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Ali Al Ghanim to discuss increased cooperation on investment and security and strengthening parliamentary relations.
