Danish wind turbine manufacturer Vestas reached an agreement with the New and Renewable Energy Authority (NREA) to construct a EUR 230 mn, 250 MW wind farm, a source from Vestas tells Al Borsa. The windfarm would be the first project in the company’s plan to install 2.2 GW in generation capacity with total investments reaching USD 4.4 bn. The project will be financed through HSBC, EKF Denmark, Euler Hermes, CDP Banco Standard, Save Danida Denmark, and the Danish Investment Fund for Developing Countries.
