House Health Committee to meet in August to discuss med price increases: The House of Representatives’ Health Committee plans on convening next month to discuss whether or not med prices will be moved a second time this year, sources tell Al Borsa. The Health Ministry had promised in January — when it issued the first price increase — to consider a second hike in med prices in August, according to pharma companies, who said they were planning to lobby for their demands. Health Minister Ahmed Rady had said earlier this month though that med prices will not be rising again this year.
