Adnoc L&S has received its second delivery of a newbuild dual-fuel very large crude carrier (VLCC), Habshan, this year, according to a statement. Habshan is the second of four VLCCs ordered by the company. The statement did not reveal the cost of the VLCCs, though Adnoc L&S has committed USD 2 bn towards building environmentally efficient vessels that cut the carbon production of its fleet by 20%. The LNG-powered carrier will bring the company’s fleet to 245 vessels, according to the statement.

ICYMI- Adnoc L&S received its first VLCC, Hafeet, at the end of June. The remaining two VLCCs are scheduled for delivery this year.
