Paid Performance Marketer

Right now, growth across EnterpriseAM's portfolio depends on campaigns that don't always reflect how different Egypt, UAE/KSA, and MENA-India readers actually convert — and on someone catching underperformance before it burns through budget, not after.

This role owns that discipline: running acquisition as a live experiment across every publication, not a "set it and check the report" function. The test for this role is the same test behind every dollar Enterprise spends on growth — does the spend convert a reader into a subscriber, and can we prove why. That means daily eyes on the numbers, structured tests instead of hunches, and budget that moves toward what's working before someone has to ask why it didn't.

Campaign management

  • Build, launch, and manage paid acquisition campaigns — primarily Meta Ads Manager (Facebook/Instagram) — across all seven EnterpriseAM publications, each with distinct audiences and positioning
  • Manage budgets across multiple concurrent campaigns and reallocate spend based on performance
  • Segment and run genuinely different campaigns by geography and audience type (Egypt vs. UAE/KSA vs. MENA-India), not one campaign duplicated seven times

Testing and optimization

  • Design and run structured A/B tests — creative, copy, audience, placement, bidding strategy — and turn results into clear next actions, not just reports
  • Monitor performance daily and weekly (CPL, CTR, conversion rate, CPA, ROAS) and translate the numbers into what's working, what's not, and what happens next

Reporting and cross-functional partnership

  • Build and maintain reporting dashboards/trackers for campaign performance across publications
  • Work with the social media lead to shape creative and content based on what the data says is underperforming or working
  • Stay current on Meta platform changes — algorithm shifts, ad policy updates, new formats — and flag implications proactively
  • Support exploratory work on other paid channels (e.g., LinkedIn, Google, TikTok) as the acquisition mix evolves
  • 2+ years of marketing experience in paid media, with hands-on ownership of campaigns in Meta Ads Manager — not "helped with," but actually built and managed campaigns, including budget and audience decisions
  • Solid grounding in A/B testing methodology: isolating variables, knowing what sample size and timeframe a result needs before you call it, and how to avoid false positives
  • Comfort managing multiple campaigns simultaneously across different audiences and publications without losing quality control
  • Clear, concise written communication — this role reports results to non-marketing stakeholders
  • Experience in media, publishing, or subscription/newsletter-based businesses — converting a "reader" into a "subscriber" runs on different logic than e-commerce conversion
  • Exposure to Meta Pixel/Conversions API setup and troubleshooting — tracking issues will come up, and someone who panics or shrugs at a broken pixel is a problem
  • Experience with Meta's Advantage+ campaigns
  • Nice to have
  • Exposure to Canva or similar tools for quick creative iteration and mockups
  • Arabic language skills — useful for creative and audience nuance across MENA markets, though not required for the analytical core of the role
