What the markets are doing on 19 October

The EGX30 rose 0.4% at today’s close on turnover of EGP 8.4 bn (25.8% below the 90-day average). Local investors were the sole net sellers. The index is up 22.2% YTD.

In the green: Abu Qir Fertilizers (+5.8%), Egypt Aluminum (+5.7%), and Mopco (+4.3%).

In the red: Palm Hills Developments (-3.0%), E-finance (-2.3%), and Alexandria Containers and goods (-2.1%).
