What the markets are doing on 22 October

The EGX30 fell 3.4% at today’s close on turnover of EGP 8.2 bn (27.4% below the 90-day average). Local investors were the sole net buyers. The index is up 22.1% YTD.

In the green: Eastern Company (+1.6%) and Qalaa Holdings (+1.0%).

In the red: E-finance (-12.1%), GB Corp (-6.8%), and Sidpec (-5.3%).
