Al Ahly and Zamalek settle it on the handball court + Guinea vs. Kenya and a full Nations League weekend ahead

⚽ The AFCON qualifying Matchday 2 closes out today with just one fixture remaining: Guinea host Kenya at 7pm. Guinea are in desperate need of a victory after losing 2-1 to South Africa in their opener. With Kenya already qualified as AFCON 2027 co-hosts, only one non-Kenya spot is available in Group D — making this a must-win for Guinea if they want to stay in contention. Kenya, who drew 1-1 with Eritrea, have nothing to lose and everything to gain by spoiling the party.

💡 All AFCON and Nations League fixtures will be broadcast on beIN Sports channels. Check out the full schedule here.

In the Nations League, the standout match is Denmark vs. Portugal at 9:45pm — the defending champions arriving in Copenhagen needing a response after a narrow 1-0 opening W over Wales, while Denmark are licking their wounds after a 3-2 defeat to Norway, in which Erling Haaland scored twice.

Greece vs. Netherlands kicks off at the same time, with Greece riding high after beating Serbia 2-1 on Thursday; the Dutch will be looking to improve on the 1-1 draw with Germany that denied Jürgen Klopp’s debut victory. Wales take on Norway also at 9:45pm — Norway, fresh off their opening W, but Wales yet to register a point, having lost to Portugal. Also at 9:45pm: Germany host Serbia and Ireland face Austria.

Other Nations League fixtures tonight:

Barcelona and Veszprém will also be battling it out for the top spot in the final at 9pm on ON Sport Plus.
