What the markets are doing on 9 September 2026

The EGX30 rose 0.6% at today’s close on turnover of EGP 12.5 bn (7.6% above the 90-day average). International investors were the sole net sellers. The index is up 35.1% YTD.

In the green: Telecom Egypt (+4.9%), Abu Qir Fertilizers (+2.7%), and Edita (+2.3%).

In the red: Cleopatra Hospital Company (-3.0%), Sidpec (-2.0%), and Rameda (-1.9%).
