Egypt’s national handball team takes on the Czech Republic

? Egypt’s national handball team will play its first match in the main round of the IHF Men’s U19 Handball World Championship tonight against the Czech Republic at 7:30pm.

Egypt, the host nation, made it through the preliminary round with a stellar performance, earning a perfect score after defeating Japan, Bahrain, and South Korea to top the group.

The Pharaohs are at the top of Group Four in the main round, ahead of Denmark on goal difference. Both teams have two points in the bag, carried over from the preliminaries. The group also includes Japan and the Czech Republic, with the first and second place teams from the group qualifying for the quarterfinals — set to be played in a knockout format.
