What the markets are doing on 6 January 2025

The EGX30 fell 0.8% at today’s close on turnover of EGP 3.3 bn (17% below the 90-day average). International investors were the sole net buyers. The index is up 0.6% YTD.

In the green: Fawry (+2.7%), Palm Hills Development (+1.3%), and Ezz Steel (+0.9%).

In the red: Eastern Company (-4.1%), Elsewedy Electric (-3.1%), and Oriental Weavers (-2.4%).
