Sierra Leone is the second step in Egypt’s World Cup journey: After emerging victorious over Djibouti a few days ago, Egypt will be facing Sierra Leone who will play host in the second round of the African qualifiers for the World Cup 2026 at 6pm tonight.

The Pharaohs are leading Group A with three points, followed by Ethiopia, Eritrea, Burkina Faso, and Guinea Bissau with one point each, while Djibouti is at the bottom of the standings without points.

HOW DO WE QUALIFY- The team with the highest points in each of the nine groups advances directly to the 2026 World Cup in the United States, Mexico and Canada, while the four teams with the best results in second place get the chance to compete in the global playoff.
