Egypt backs UN resolution condemning Russia’s Ukraine annexations: Egypt was among 143 countries that voted in favor of a UN General Assembly (UNGA) resolution last week condemning Russia for annexing several regions in Ukraine and demanding that Moscow reverse the move, the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
