Jumia will hire more than 100 workers at its new Cairo tech hub as part of the Africa-focused e-commerce giant’s plans to increase its IT department staff by 40% by the end of the year.

The Egypt University of Informatics (EUI) will be established in the new capital’s Knowledge City and will open its doors in the coming 2021-2022 academic year in October, with plans to offer undergraduate degrees in information sciences, computer engineering, digital arts and design, and business informatics.
