Banque du Caire has received USD 15 mn from German development bank KfW’s Sanad Fund for on-lending to SMEs, a jointstatement (pdf) said on Wednesday. Chairman Tarek Fayed said the funding will be aimed at low-income and village residents, providing needed liquidity for farmers, small agricultural enterprises and micro-financing institutions.
