Google has unveiled an Arabic version of its Read Along app, which helps children improve their Arabic reading skills. Announced on International Literacy Day last week, the app utilizes Google’s voice recognition technology to aid children’s reading comprehension, and allows them to share verbal and visual notes while they read. Children around the world have used the app to read more than 32 mn stories, spending more than 3 mn combined hours to improve their reading skills.
