The Oil Ministry and Schlumberger Ltd. will organize a conference in Hurghada this November to promote and market available concessions and oil and gas exploration areas in the Red Sea area, according to a ministry statement. The news came out of a meeting between Oil Minister Tarek El Molla and Schlumberger officials in Cairo on Thursday where discussions centered around ongoing exploration and seismic scans the company is undertaking in Egypt.
