XD-Egemac is set to begin operating three new transformer stations connecting the Benban solar farm to the national grid by the end of the month, company chairman Medhat Ramadan tells Amwal Al Ghad. The company had already begun operating one station last October, and is currently running trial operations on the remaining three. The four stations cost a combined total of EGP 1.3 bn, Ramadan previously said.
