Egyptian swimming in the US college circuit eying spot in the 2020 games

Egyptian-American swimmer Abdallah Mahgoub is eying a spot on the Egyptian national swim team for the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, reports the Diablo Valley College Inquirer. Mahgoub currently competes in the US college circuit for Diablo Valley College in California and has been in touch with the Egyptian swimming federation for an opportunity to tryout for the Olympic squad. Mahgoub’s coach believes he is amongst the top two swimmers.
