INVESTMENT WATCH- Algebra Ventures will continue to invest in Egyptian startups in the new year with a target of having deployed a total of USD 15 mn between inception and the end of 2018, founding partner Ziad Mokhtar tells Al Mal. Mokhtar adds that the company will continue to invest through 2020, after which its focus will turn to driving growth at portfolio companies and then the exit cycle. Mokhtar had told Al Masry Al Youm last week that the venture capital firm is looking into providing seed funding for some 20 companies in 2018 and 2019.
