Burjeel names transformation lead as CFO

Burjeel Holdings has appointed Reuben George Joseph (LinkedIn) as CFO, effective 1 October, the company said (pdf). Joseph is currently Burjeel’s general manager for transformation and has been involved in strategic finance, capital allocation, corporate development, and the group’s wider transformation agenda. He replaces Muhammed Shihabuddin (LinkedIn), who will remain CFO through 30 September to support the transition.

More on the new hire: Joseph brings more than 20 years of experience across financial reporting, treasury, M&A, restructuring, and finance transformation. Before joining Burjeel, he was CFO of VPS Health and also held board and senior advisory roles.
