Abu Dhabi Airports has appointed Elena Sorlini (LinkedIn) as its new managing director and CEO, Wam reports. Sorlini has been serving as the interim MD and CEO since June 2023 and oversaw the inauguration of the airport’s new Terminal A last year. Sorlini has over 20 years of experience in the aviation sector, previously serving as Oman Aviation Group’s corporate strategy VP, Copenhagen Airports’ strategy director, and ADQ Aviation and Aerospace Services’ transport and logistics executive director. She is also a board member of Etihad Airways, Abu Dhabi Aviation, and ADQ.
