Saudia Cargohas appointed Former Deputy Minister for Logistics Services Loay Mashabi (LinkedIn) as managing director, according to a statement. Mashabi — who will join the company as of 8 October, according to the Saudi Gazette — will oversee functions and strategic initiatives to promote growth and transformation in the company. Mashabi comes to Saudi Cargo with experience in the logistics sector, having served as KSA’s deputy minister for logistics services for more than two years, and as a board member at Saudia Cargo, the Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones (Modon), and Saudi Exports Authority.
