The EGX30 rose 1.6% at today’s close on turnover of EGP 3.7 bn (25.3% below the 90-day average). Local investors were net buyers. The index is up 16.7% YTD. In the green: Qalaa Holdings (+10.2%), E-finance (+9.5%) and Sidi Kerir Petrochemicals (+8.5%). In the red: Edita (-5.0%), Talaat Moustafa Group (-3.3%) and Juhayna (-2.2%).
