What the markets are doing on 4 May 2026

The EGX30 fell 0.7% at today’s close on turnover of EGP 12.0 bn (63.7% above the 90-day average). Local investors were the sole net buyers. The index is up 24.3% YTD.

In the green: Qalaa Holdings (+2.8%), Misr Cement (+2.3%), and Juhayna (+1.3%).

In the red: Raya Holding (-4.0%), Valmore Holding -EGP (-3.4%), and Orascom Investment Holding (-3.2%).
