No matches today or tomorrow, but we’ve got a busy weekend ahead with four fiery clashes.

#1- Al Za’eem’s next adventure: Al Hilal will open the tournament’s quarter finals stage with a highly-anticipated match against Fluminese at the Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida. The match kicks off at 10pm on Friday. Al Hilal pulled off one of the biggest Club World Cup upsets ever by defeating Manchester City 4-3 after extra time, securing their spot in the quarter finals — and maintaining an undefeated record. Fluminese also qualified from the group stage undefeated, and proved they got what it takes to win by eliminating Inter Milan in the round of 16.

#2- Chelsea and Palmeiras will meet at the Lincoln Financial Field on Saturday at 4am. The Blues qualified in second place in Group D, later overcoming Benfica 4-1 in a thrilling match that went into extra time, and saw a nearly two-hour delay due to weather. Palmeiras, on the other hand, topped Group A, and secured their qualification with a tough 1-0 victory over Botafogo in a Brazilian clash that also went into extra time.

Victors of both matches will face off in the quarter finals on Tuesday, 8 June.

#3- Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz stadium will host the most anticipated quarter finals match: PSG vs. Bayern Munich. The whistle will blow on Saturday at 7pm. The Parisians kept up their strong performances in the Club World Cup with a decisive 4-0 victory over Inter Miami in the round of 16, while the Bavarians managed to overcome Flamengo 4-2.

#4- Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund face off once again, in a rematch of the 2024 Champions League final. The match will take place at the MetLife stadium in New York on Saturday at 11pm. Real Madrid topped its group and eliminated Juventus with a 1-0 victory yesterday. Borussia Dortmund was also in its group’s lead, and defeated Monterrey early this morning.

Victors of both matches will face off in the semi-finals on Wednesday, 9 June.
