He received Togo’s President Faure Gnassingbé, who is on a private visit to Egypt, and UN Secretary-General António Guterres. El Sisi also awarded Irina Bokova, Director-General of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) the Order of the Republic, First Class, in recognition of her efforts to promote cooperation between Egypt and UNESCO, Ittihadiya said in a statement.
