Our friend Andre Valavanis, newly appointed co-head of investor relations at GB Auto, will contest the World Boxing Federation Intercontinental Welterweight Title on Tuesday, 18 July in a WBF championship twin-bill in Cairo. Valavanis, currently the WBF Super Welterweight Champion, will “return to his natural weight class for the vacant WBF welterweight title,” the WBF notes in its promo for the bout, which will see him square off against former Tanzanian champion Omari Ramadan.
