The Kitesurfing competition that helped put Ras Sudr on the map

The ninth annual King of the Lagoon kitesurfing competition wrapped up a few weeks ago in Ras Sudr. Although geared mainly toward amateur-level competitors, King of the Lagoon has attracted a diverse crowd of international and local kitesurfers over the years, helping put Ras Sudr — with its idyllic conditions for the sport — on the map.
