President Abdel Fattah El Sisi awarded the outgoing Saudi Arabian Ambassador to Cairo Ahmed Kattan The Nile Sash, according to an Ittihadiya statementon Sunday. Kattan is finishing off a 14-year tenure as Riyadh ambassador to Cairo and its permanent envoy to the Arab League. The Nile Sash is Egypt’s third-highest honor.
