Global warming threatens Gabal Elba protectorate

Climate change, which has resulted in less rain and smaller amounts of vegetation on the mountain, is also harming the native Bishara and Ababda tribes, who depend mainly on livestock for their livelihood. Activists say that encouraging conscious eco-tourism may be helpful for the locals.
