Sean Jones (LinkedIn | bio)has been appointed the new mission director for USAID Egypt, the US Embassy in Cairo said this week. He will oversee a portfolio of over 45 projects that deliver some USD 125 mn in annual economic assistance that the agency extends to Egypt. Jones previously served as the USAID mission director in Ethiopia and Mexico, in addition to holding positions at USAID missions in Yemen, Iraq, Jordan and Columbia.
