Oil Minister Tarek El Molla met last week with World Bank Group senior director and top energy official Riccardo Puliti to discuss financing for East Med gas projects and infrastructure during the CERAWeek conference in Houston, according to a cabinet statement. El Molla also discussed cooperation with Noble Energy Chairman David Stover, who praised Egypt’s efforts to become an energy hub. The minister also met with ExxonMobil President Steve Greenlee, who said his company is looking to invest in Egypt.
