How to Become a Cult Leader is yourhow-to guide on how to become an OG influencer. Netflix’s second installment in their satirical How to Become series (the first being How to Become a Tyrant) is a tongue-in-cheek manual to becoming a cult leader. The six-episode season ( watch trailer, runtime: 1:30) is once again narrated by Peter Dinklage, and dedicates one episode each to an infamous cult leader, such as Charles Manson who most of us are pretty familiar with by now. The show features interviews with experts in the field and breaks down the formula used by these notorious con men (and women) to gain power and a terrifying amount of influence over the masses. The half-hour episodes may not delve too deep into the logistics of brainwashing the public, but maybe it’s for the best. You can find the brand new season of this anthology on Netflix.
